I think it would be nice to open a discord server to find ppl, talk about staff, and most important - find pq'ers that are currecntly logged in and want to pq.
For now, I find it really hard to make a KPQ, for instance, because I cant know who logged in, and also I cant tell others that I want to pq.
It will also for 100% will contribute to the development and popularity of the server, and will also bring more ppl to play this server as well.

Thank you and good night.  Smile

  Archer-> Hunter-> Ranger-> Bowmaster
Posted by: ChiRi - 09-01-2020, 01:39 AM - Forum: Guides - No Replies

Updated 9/14/2020
Archer-> Hunter-> Ranger-> Bowmaster
This guide will probably not be updated later by me

Archers are one of the few classes people dislike to play, mainly because everyone makes a Nightlord and then all the high level Nightlords make an archer mule for sharp eyes (SE). Anyways, Fourth job Bowmasters are very powerful, they also receive a power-up skill called Sharp Eyes which makes party members critically hit a monster more/more often. Personally, I think a Bowmaster is a fun class to make. Once they hit fourth job they just hold down one button like Nightlords do and kill the monster very quickly.

Stat Build

Many bowman like to go STRless. This makes them strong because of the skill Maple Warrior in 4th job which applies a base percentage to all of your main Stats. Maple Warrior 10 gives 5% and Maple Warrior 20 gives 10%. For the main Stats I suggest adding in 5 STR every 5 levels so you can wear a new bow, basically play it by ear because some bows are harder to get than others.

Weapon Suggestions:
Any Bow
Maple Bow
Maple Soul Searcher
Maple Kandiva Bow
Bow of Magical Destruction
White Nisrock
Dragon Shiner Bow
Timeless/Reverse Weapon

1st Job Advance, need 25 Dex and must be level 10

*Note: Grab a Warrior Elixir in NLC, adds extra 12 attack

2nd Job Advance, Must be level 30, Head to 1st Job Advancement Instructor

Skill Build

Level 30-37-> MAX Arrow Bomb
Level 38-48> MAX Bow Mastery (Can Rotate once you get good enough level Arrow Bomb or go 2/1 ratio with Mastery/Arrow Bomb), 2 Points into Bow Booster
Level 49-50> 4 Points into Bow Booster, 2 Points into Power-Knock Back
Level 51-60-> MAX Power Knock-Back
Level 61-70-> MAX Booster, 1 Point into Booster, Rest into Whatever
*Note: Final Attack doesn’t work with Strafe, 3rd job Skill (Max Something else like The Blessing of Amazon or Focus from first job)

MAX
Bow Mastery

3rd Job Advance, Must be level 70, Make sure to Distribute Skill Points, Head to El Nath, Then Back and Forth

Skill Build

Level 70-72-> 5 Points into Mortal Blow, 2 Points into Arrow Rain
Level 81-89-> MAX Arrow Rain (Or Rotate in Strafe)
Level 90-99-> MAX Strafe
Level 100-106-> MAX Puppet, 1 Point Mortal Blow
Level 107-111-> MAX Mortal Blow, 1 Point Silver Hawk
Level 112- 116-> 14 Points Silver Hawk (15 Points for 4th Job Phoenix), 1 Extra Point in Whatever
Level 117-120-> People Usually Put Points into Thrust, but that’s all up to you
*Note: Bowman are DEX based so accuracy is like never a problem

Training Places

Level 70-90-> Ghost Ship 2 (ARROW RAIN), MP3 w/ Party, Forest of Golem in Sleepywood Dungeon, Voodoo/Hoodoo in NLC
Level 90-120-> Dreamy Ghosts (Himes) in Zipangu: Mushroom Shrine, Squids/Gobies in Aqua or Headless Horseman in NLC
Level 90+-> Jr. Newties/Nest Golems
Level 135+-> Skele's

4th Job Advancement, Go to 3rd job instructor in El Nath then start quest

Skill Build
Level 120-> 1 Point Hurricane
Level 121-130-> MAX Sharp Eyes (Rotate with Hurricane or just MAX Hurricane? Up to you)
*Note: Read words of Advice

MAX
Hurricane
Sharp Eyes
I believe: Bow Expert, Phoenix, and Whatever?

Words of advice:
I’ve never really played a Bowmaster past level 130, I would suggest grinding at Himes until level 140 though. What you max is totally up to you. If you have a question I guess post here and either I or someone will try to help you.

  Rogue-> Assassin-> Hermit-> Nightlord
Posted by: ChiRi - 08-30-2020, 05:22 PM - Forum: Guides - No Replies

Rogue-> Assassin-> Hermit-> Nightlord
This guide will be updated later

Why make a Nightlord? Nightlords produce the most DPM when on buffs (e.g. Sharp Eyes). Secondly, Nightlords get a two party skills one called haste and the other one is mesos up. Haste makes everyone’s speed and jump increase and mesos up increases the amount of mesos dropped by monsters. In addition to this during 3rd job Nightlords also get the skill alchemist which increases the pot absorption and time by 150%.

Stat Build

I suggest going dexless at the start, then transition into low dex. Doing this can make your character stronger rather than having points into both dex and luk.

Weapon Suggestions:
Garnier
Maple Claw
Maple Kandayo
Neva
Shinobi Bracer
Night Raven’s Claw
Red Craven
Purple Sleeve
Timelesss/Reverse claw

1st Job Advance, need 25 Dex and must be level 10

Level 11-14 -> 3 points into Nimble Body, MAX Keen Eyes, 1 point Lucky Seven

2nd Job Advance, Must be level 30, Head to 1st Job Advancement Instructor

MAX
Shadow Partner
Avenger
Flash Jump
Mesos Up
Alchemist

*Note: (To me Flash Jump> Mesos up> Alchemist), Rest of Points you can put into Drain and/or Dark Sight. Also, you can obtain summoning rocks by Finishing Alcaster’s Quest which you can start in El Nath market

Training Places

Level 70-80-> MP3 w/ Party, Forest of Golem in Sleepywood Dungeon, Voodoo/Hoodoo in NLC
Level 80-120-> Squids in Aqua or Headless Horseman in NLC
Level 9x-120-> Sniping Jr. Newties

4th Job Advancement, Go to 3rd job instructor in El Nath then start quest

Typical Bossing Build: Triple Throw> Shadow Shifter> Shadow Star> Venom
*Note: Read words of Advice

MAX
Triple Throw
Shadow Shifter
Shadow Star
Venom
Ninja Storm

Words of advice:
Usually you max Triple Throw 1st off. The only problem is that Triple Throw drops from Zakum which is a level 140 boss. So.....

  Warrior-> Fighter-> Crusader-> Hero
Posted by: ChiRi - 08-29-2020, 08:56 PM - Forum: Guides - No Replies

Warrior-> Fighter-> Crusader-> Hero
Guide may be updated down the road

               Why make a Hero? Heroes are one of the strongest classes in the game. As I have stated before warriors in general are hard to make early on but they strong and one of the most needed classes. Compared to Dark Knights and Paladins a Hero has the most DPM of all warriors. After level 80 it is recommended to have around 120 accuracy in order to hit monsters.

Stat Build
As I have previously stated in another guide, personally I would not add any DEX until level 20, grinding the low level monsters does not require a lot of accuracy. Remember that you can add in DEX which will cause your accuracy to rise, making you miss a lot less. I would recommend using an accuracy calculator to check out what you will need: http://www.screamingstatue.com/MSCalc.php

Weapon Suggestions
Long Sword
Any weapon you think can work
Maple Sword
Lunch Box?
Stonetooth Sword?

*Note: There is a difference between one-handed weapons and two-handed weapons. The attack is a little weaker when dealing with one-handed weapons due to the fact that you can equip an attack shield (in theory). In addition, one-handed weapons are usually faster.

*Note: Sword versus Axe Weapon. I would go with the sword, looks cooler and Stonetooths in gachapon. But is totally up to you which one you choose.

1st Job Advance, need 35 STR and must be level 10
Warrior Skill Build
Level 10-> 1 Point into Improving HP Recovery
Level 11-12 -> 4 points into Improved HP Recovery, 2 points into Improve MaxHP Increase
Level 13-16-> MAX Improved MaxHP Increase, 1 point into Power Strike, 1 Point into Slash Blasts
Level 17-23-> MAX Slash Blast, 2 Points into Power Strike
Level 24-30-> MAX Power Strike, Rest into Endure/whatever you would like

MAX
Improve MaxHP Increase
Slash Blasts
Power Strike

Words of advice:
Unlike Dark Knight’s, getting a bishop or priest to train with you is a lot harder to do. But a Hero is very strong and needed, so don’t get down on yourself, just level up. In the end, you will like what you have achieved.

  HP Washing/Blood Washing/MP Washing
Posted by: ChiRi - 08-29-2020, 06:14 AM - Forum: Guides - No Replies

Updated 9/14/2020
HP Washing
What is HP Washing?
               HP washing is taking 1 given ability point preferably from leveling up and putting that ability point into HP, then taking a point out of MP and putting it into one of the main stats (e.g. STR/DEX/INT/LUK).
But how do we take points out of MP?
               The stat INT actually builds MP, ten INT equals one MP upon level up. There is a balance formula between HP and MP that will not let you use an AP Reset and take a point straight out of MP and put that point into one of your main Stats. However, you can put one point into either HP and MP and take that point out and put it into one of your Main Stats.
Why/Do we need HP washing?
               Certain characters/classes need HP washing because some bosses like Zakum and Horntail require a lot of HP to survive them. Minimum HP for Zakum is 3,100 HP clean because that’s the damage that is dealt. So why can’t we just level up and then boss then? Well you can, but it will be many levels later down the line that you will be able to boss effectively and safely.
Is HP washing worth it?
Personally I would say yes, not only can it help with bosses, but extra HP can help you train more easily.
Class/Characters that need HP washing?
               Just about everyone. Dark Knights for Zerking, Heros/Paladins/Buccaneers for not being as squishy. Thieves/Archers/Corsairs to actually be able to boss and train more safely.
The Breakdown
               So there are formulas that calculate your minimum MP, meaning the amount you cannot go below.
Formulas:
Min MP Formula for Spearman class = 4 X level + 156
Min MP Formula for Fighter class = 4 x level +56
Min MP Formula for Bow/Crossbow job = level x 14 + 148
Min MP Formula for after 2nd job Thieves = level x 14 + 148
Min MP Formula for Pirates= level x 18 + 55
*Notes: For Thieves it takes 12 MP to wash compared to Warriors which only require 4 MP. I am unsure about about Archers and Pirates but I believe Archers & Corsairs take out the same MP as Thieves. Buccaneers on the other hand follow Warriors. Saying this one would need 120 INT as a Thief to wash one time, compared to a Warrior who only needs 40 INT to wash one time.

For right now, washing is not a must. If you do wish to wash just add like 20 points into int, please don't go crazy with it.

Blood Washing

               Blood washing is simply taking your ability points and throwing them into HP, not caring about the character at all and simply making it a mule that can HS/SE/HB/SI/TL and so on. Pretty plain and simple way of gaining HP fast while sacrificing the character. People do this so they can have the party skills and not get killed as easily.

MP WASHING

What is MP Washing?

               MP washing is taking an ability point upon level up and adding it into MP.  Then by simply using an Ability Point reset to take that MP back out of MP and put it into one of your main Stats or even into HP, if you want to wash a Magician.

Why do people wash mages?

               There are a few reasons to wash a Magician, one is to get like 5k HP so they won’t die from dispel at Horntail, and the other reason is so they can achieve 30k MP.

Why do it for other classes?

               Because too much HP just ruins the game? I don’t know what to tell you.

Method

*Note: MP Washing only works with Base INT, and one’s Base INT MUST BE OVER 120.

               For Base INT that is ~ 120+, you will receive like an extra 10 MP when putting 1 point into MP and then resetting that point to your main Stats. That is a lot of MP to work with if you do that a couple of times.
               For Base INT that is ~240+, you will receive like an extra 20 MP when putting 1 point into MP an then resetting that point to your main Stats.

  Warrior-> Spearman-> Dragon Knight-> Dark Knight
Posted by: ChiRi - 08-28-2020, 06:18 PM - Forum: Guides - No Replies

Warrior-> Spearman-> Dragon Knight-> Dark Knight
Guide will not be updated down the road

               Why make a Dark Knight? A Dark Knight is a very strong character to make; they also have a party skill called Hyper Body that allows your character and others to gain extra HP for the duration of the skill. Creating a Warrior at this stage of the game is a very hard thing to do. Warriors have very poor accuracy, which makes them miss a lot more than expected. After level 80 it is recommended you have around 120 accuracy to grind the major monsters. Don’t discourage yourself though, Warriors and in specific Dark Knights are very precious and needed for many bosses. Let’s take a look at the stat build and skill build of a Dark Knight.

Stat Build
Personally I would not add any dex until level 20, grinding the low level monsters does not require a lot of accuracy. Remember that you can add in dex which will cause your accuracy to rise, making you miss a lot less. I would recommend using an accuracy calculator to check out what you will need: http://www.screamingstatue.com/MSCalc.php

Weapon Suggestions
Long Sword
Fish Spear [From Zipangu: Showa Town (Costs 150k)]
Maple Sword (Recommended until you have a Maple Impaler or Maple Scorpio)
Maple Impaler/Maple Scorpio
Maple Soul Spear/Maple Karstan
Sky Ski* (Gachapon: Rare)
Purple Surf Board (Gachapon: Rare)
Any Other Weapon Spear/Polearm

1st Job Advance, need 35 STR and must be level 10
Warrior Skill Build
Level 10-> 1 Point into Improving HP Recovery
Level 11-12 -> 4 points into Improved HP Recovery, 2 points into Improve MaxHP Increase
Level 13-16-> MAX Improved MaxHP Increase, 1 point into Power Strike, 1 Point into Slash Blasts
Level 17-23-> MAX Slash Blast, 2 Points into Power Strike
Level 24-30-> MAX Power Strike, Rest into Endure/whatever you would like

2nd Job Advance, Must be level 30, Head to 1st Job Advancement Instructor
Spearman Skill Build

Level 38-40-> 5 points into Booster of Choice, 1 point into Iron Body
Level 41-> 2 points Iron Body, 1 point Hyper Body
Level 42-52-> Max Hyper Body, 2 points into either maxing Booster or Other Mastery
Level 53-70-> Max Other Mastery, Max Both Boosters
*Note: Why not max Final Attack or Iron Will? Final Attack is a useless skill after 2nd job. Third job brings in new skills that are very powerful and way more useful when you are hybrid. Iron Will is just plain useless because defense is useless at high level.

MAX

Polearm Mastery

Training Places
Level 30-38-> Ludibrium Teddies, Skorpions/Sandrats Ariant, CPQ

Level 97-107-> 1 Point Sacrifice, Max Dragon Roar
Level 108-112-> 13 Points into Sacrifice, 2 Points in Whatever
Level 113-120-> Either Max Sacrifice, Put a few Points into Dragon Fury (Spear) for Mobing at Dreamy Ghosts, or Max Power Crash if it works on weapon defense ups
*Note: Dragon blood is useless (Can kill you on 1/1) just grab NLC Attack Pot, Pole Arm Crusher is useless since Spear is more effective for stabbing whereas Pole arm is better for Slashing

MAX
Dragon Fury (Pole Arm)
Elemental Resistance
Spear Crusher (Spear)
Dragon Roar

Training Places
Level 70-90-> Ghost 2 or MP3 w/ Party
Level ~85-95-> Wolf Spiders

Skill Build
Level 120-123-> 1 point Rush, 9 points Beholder
Level 124-> Max Beholder, 2 points Stance
Level 125+-> Skill Books come into play, Stance > Berserker since Berserker 30 comes from HT

MAX
Beholder
Berserker
Stance
Achilles

Training Places
Level 120+-> Gobies/Vikings/Squids/Dreamy Ghosts (Himes)
Level ~140+-> Skelegon’s, Big Foot

Words of advice:
Since the main Skills of this class drop from Bosses: Stance 30 and Berserker 20 come from Zakum and Berserker 30 drops from HT, it is very hard to get these main skills. Do not worry, Himes grinding with a priest is really fast, mob mid once you are lvl 125+. Lastly, this is a fun class to play, just watch your HP though, HP washing does come into being a factor with this class.
